Actor John Dumelo joined thousands of the Protesters in today’s Kum Yen Preko demonstration.
Wearing T-Shirts, the colour of blood, protesters ooze slowly through Accra central streets, taming motorists to pay attention to their placards.
‘We are suffering, Kum Y3n preko’, ‘Free NAM1’ and predictably ‘incompetent government’. Someone was simply unhappy that the Kasoa polyclinic, although completed, has not been opened for use.
The march began at 9am beneath the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange at Circle. It is organised by a pressure group, Coalition for Social Justice, backed by the opposition National Democratic Congress.
The actor is now a full-time politician, no two ways. Nice one, JMelo.
