Takoradi is experiencing a new wave of exciting radio, one that has not been felt in a long time. Thanks to Y 97.9 FM! For about a month now, Y97.9fm has been introducing exciting new programs hosted by experienced and exciting radio hosts. The latest big name signing to be made by Y97.9fm in Takoradi is Nana Quasi-Wusu known in the showbiz industry as ‘PM de Presenter’
With his good work, eloquence, great fashion sense, he is a great addition to help serve and uplift the station’s name. In an interview on Ryse N Shyne with Chelsy Sey, PM made it known that joining Global Media Alliance’s YFM is a good move and one to die for and exhorts his listeners in Takoradi and beyond to expect nothing but new and exciting time on YFM.
PM is one of the good presenters in Takoradi who helped push entertainment in Western Region to a higher level and he joins Y97.9FM with a rich background of experience in the radio industry. This move has got Sekondi Takoradi talking and eagerly anticipating his first show on Takoradi’s number one youthful brand; Y97.9FM.
Nana Quasi-Wusu also known as PM is an award-winning Presenter/Mc/Actor/Fashion Model and a Civil Engineer, with 10 and 5years experience as a Versatile Event MC and Radio Host respectively.
Prior to joining Y97.9FM, he was with Radio Maxx 105.1fm in Takoradi where he served in various capacities as Events Coordinator, presenter, amongst others and later earned a nominations and won a couple of Awards as MC and Radio Host. His creativity and versatility has made him Takoradi’s number one event MC. Some of the shows he has hosted include Western Music Awards, Kofi Kinatta’s Made In Taadi Concert, Kwabena Kwabena’s Save a Life Concert of which award winning rapper Casta Troy perfomred, Bisa Live in Concert, Asabaako Festival, Loud in GH,YFM #AreaCodesJam,Taadi Fashion Week, Miss TTU and many more.
He takes over the station’s late afternoon show; Dryve of Ur Lyfe beginning April 1 and promises to deliver to the listeners the best and juicy entertainment, sports and tech news as well as all the favourite hits that are missing on other networks.
