Ghanaian actress and media personality Rya Anakwa has come to the defense of young Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog after many people started chastising him on his Tim Westwood performance.

Young rapper Yaw Tog together with other colleague rappers like Amerado and Kweku Flick had the opportunity to have a sit-down interview with renowned disc jockey and media personality Tim Westwood on Capital Xtra radio.
This was when the three rappers together with several musicians in the country traveled to the United Kingdom couple of weeks ago for the 12th edition of the Ghana Party In The Park organized by Akwaaba UK.
Yaw Tog has been facing a heavy backlash from many social media users and fans for pulling up an awful performance during the freestyle/ rap session of the interview.
Rya Anakwa reacting to the criticisms stated that fans should understand that not every rapper is a freestyler hence Yaw Tog fells into that category. In her submission as a pundit on this morning’s edition of the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM, the model stated the rapper’s performance was just fine.
She said she doesn’t see anything wrong with the ‘Sore’ hitmaker’s performance as she knows that not every rapper is a good freestyler. She added looking at Yaw Tog’s style, you can probably tell that he’s not a good freestyler so people should stop bashing him on that.
