Rapper Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black has advised Ghanaian music producers to start creating Electronic Plays (EPs) and Albums so that they can earn from streaming revenue in addition to the direct money they earn from making beats for artistes.
D-Black took to his twitter page to share his advice to Ghanaian producers who have been crying over unpaid services they rendered to musicians.
According to D-Black, when producers create the EPs and Albums, the earnings they make is equivalent to the artistes performance fees they charge for shows.

Again, D-Black hold the taught that, producers will also get their royalties too from the online and digital streams of their EPs and Albums.
Moreover, the Vera crooner explosively stated that, the Ghana Music Industry is weak and poor and it’s time producers think and act smart in their profession to earn a better live for themselves.
D-Black twitted “Artists pls Encourage ur producers to also create and EP or album. So that streaming revenue he makes is the equivalent of the artists ‘performance fees’ etc . U get ur royalties too. So that we all eating . We gotta be smart out here to survive. Our industry weak. My 2 cents.”
Recently, music producers have risen and making series of complaint against artistes who have failed to pay them after working and making beats for their songs to get hit.
The most recent one is popular producer MOG who has disclosed that Dancehall Artist Shatta Wale has not paid him yet after producing ten (10) songs on his latest album the Reign Album.

Before this, one famous producer Zab Mallet also revealed and accused Rapper Sarkodie for not paying him after working producing some of his hit songs.
Now, D-Black has come out with this advise that producers should make EPs and Albums to earn an income from it too.
