Renowned Ghanaian rapper, Maradona Yeboah Adjei who is widely known in showbiz as Guru has lamented about the plights of Ghanaian students who attend government basic schools.

According to him, these students really lack a lot adding that he always sad for these students as he gave his reasons.

He revealed that he started his basic education in a government school indicated that he realized there were a lot of things that did not go well with him, however, after switching schools to a private school, he was very ‘okay’.

He made this known in a recent interview he had with astute Ghanaian journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr FM.

In his submission, he said;

“We attended “syto” and there is something wrong with “syto”. You will lack …, they lack a lot. It was until I entered into preparatory school (private school) then I realized if I had gotten all that opportunity earlier, I could have been much better than what I was going through in my home town Nkroanza.”

Guru has been one of the notable Ghanaian musicians who have given Ghanaians back to back hits since he broke into the music limelight some years ago after featuring Obrafour on his ‘KASIEBO’ track.
