The Award winning rapper Sarkodie has fired the National Communications Officer of the opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi over his recent tweets.
In a recent tweet by the Communications Officer, he posted a cartoon image of the electoral commission and the President of Ghana Nana Akuffo-Addo in connection with their earlier allegations that the ruling party, NPP wants to rig the upcoming elections hence in a haste to compile a new voters ID.
Sammy Gyamfi posted the photo with caption…..”For those who have interpretation issues“.
However, BET Award winner Sarkodie has rebuked Sammy Gyamfi for blowing hot air when the country is currently facing a crises. According to Sarkodie, Sammy Gyamfi’s post was uncalled for and described his actions as wrong. Sarkodie further stated that sensitive issues should not be taken as a joke. He has therefore called on Sammy Gyamfi to retract and take down his post.
“Naa my brother we all go wrong sometimes…. i will believe your intentions wasn’t to joke with these serious and very sensitive issues, but you still wrong just do what’s right…..retract and take it down” he retweeted.
