Award-Winning Reggae Artiste, Samini has taken a bold step to cease his rivalry with Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The rivalry ends after Samini spoke about his collaboration with the dancehall artiste.
The collaboration came as a surprise to Ghanaians because both have been in an intense rivalry for years but the two put all that behind them by surprising Ghanaians with a hit song titled ‘Celebration’ for Christmas. Both Samini and Shatta Wale are also noted to have a huge fan base.
In an interview on SVTV monitored by Ghgossip, Samini stated that he decided to end the beef with Shatta Wale before he enters the next decade.
“Yeah, we’re wrapping another decade and moving on to the next decade. So, I want to leave everything that happened in the decade behind and the only way you can do that is to move by example. To have a song together will make both parties happy in terms of our fans and following. So, I did it for the fans to understand that, above everything, there is unity; and it’s necessary doing that before we enter the next decade.” Samini said.
Samini, however, took that as an opportunity to call for unity among other Ghanaian artistes. He urged artists to focus on coming together to work together for the greater good of the nation.
