Ghanaian musician, Andrew Samini who is known as Samini has emotionally reacted to the death of the legendary Ghanaian musician, Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor who is known as Sonni Balli.

Sonni Balli was confirmed dead earlier today after he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest. Reacting to the news, Samini took to his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter and wrote;

“⚫️🙏🏾 …. Smh… Sonni Balli.. No words 😞😞😞💔💔💔💔💔💔💔”

Sonni Balli is credited with being the man who gave legendary musician, Samini exposure when it comes to music.

He once spoke about how he got an encounter with Samini at the early stage of his music career. According to him, he was with veteran hiplife musician, Nana King when he realized that the High-Grade family boss was having a unique talent hidden in him.

Speaking in an interview on Kastle FM, he noted that he does not credit himself for giving Samini who was then known as Batman exposure but rather God.

Sonni Balli emphasized that he was at a place when Samini was displaying his talent and that time he used to work with Nana King and some other people who needed such great talents.

He stated that after seeing his potential he gave him some guidelines and tips to let him know how things are done for people to enjoy the work.
