Legendary Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician, Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, well known as Samini has finally opened up on the inspiration behind his decision to change his name from ‘Batman’ to ‘Samini’.

Formerly named Batman explained during an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz with Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown that at a point in his music career he realized there was the need to come out with a solid brand name that would be registered on the lips of his fans and other music lovers.
Samini revealed that he recorded an entire song with his current name ‘Samini’ in order for Ghanaians and his fanbase to adapt to his new brand name and get rid of his old name Samini.
As a reminder, Samini happens to be one of the frontrunners in Ghanaian dancehall music. His genre of music is a melodious mixture of high life, dance hall, reggae, and hip-hop.
