Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall crooner, Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, affectionately known as Samini
has revealed his intentions to venture into politics in the near future.

It would be vividly recalled that the “Linda” hitmaker debunked claims of aspiring for political office after the 2020 General Elections after a flyer went viral with his image standing for a member of parliament in the next parliamentary elections.

He was reportedly aspiring as a member of parliament for the Wa Central constituency but the musician came out publicly to deny these claims.

Speaking in an interview on UTV on the United Showbiz with Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Samini hinted at embarking on a political career, says he will stand as MP when the time is right for him. However, he never made any specifics on the constituency he will be standing for but it has already been presumed that he will stand for either Wa or Dansoman.

In other news, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service has placed a GHc50,000 bounty on the two suspected armed robbers who killed two police officers at Zuarungu in the Upper East Region.

It would be vividly recalled that two police officers, Constable Emmanuel Akowuah and Constable Mohammed Sule who were on a night patrol in the vicinity were shot dead by the suspected armed robbers.

According to reports filed by the police, the Zuarungu District Command received a distress call reporting an ongoing robbery at Zuarungu Market on the 15th of November, 2021, at about 2020 hours.
