Sarkodie Dominates Apple Music's Top 10 Hip Hop/Rap Chart In Ghana

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie dominated this week’s Apple Music’s Top 10 Hip Hop/ Rap Chart with nine straight songs.

Apple Music released this week’s edition of the Top 10 Hip Hop/ Rap songs on the music streaming platform and not surprisingly, the Sark Nation boss dominated the chart with nine songs.

Sarkodie made it to the chart with nine songs coming off his newly released album titled ‘No Pressure’. He dominated from the second place of the chart to the tenth position with the only artist making it to the list aside Sarkodie been Black Sherif.

Black Sherif’s ‘Second Sermon’ song cemented its place as the number one Hip Hop/ Rap song in Ghana and one of the most consistent songs on the chart for the past couple of weeks. Sarkodie then took over from number two to number ten with his songs; Non Living Thing, Rollies & Cigars, Vibration, Married To, Coachella, Jaara, Round 2, Whipped, and I’ll Be There.

Sarkodie released his ‘No Pressure’ album last week and it seems music lovers and fans around the world are receiving the album in ‘good faith’.

One of the songs from the album which is receiving much attention on all the streaming platforms and on social media is ‘Rollies & Cigars’. The official music video of the song is now one of the most top songs on YouTube in Ghana right now.
