Prominent Ghanaian rap artiste, Michael Owusu Addo, widely known ion stage as Sarkodie has taken to the microblogging platform to heap praises on Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper.

In a tweet, Sarkodie insinuated that the two African-American rappers, Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper have devoted themselves as ambassadors between Ghanaians and their fellows in the diaspora.

He stated that the two sensational rapper are gradually bridging the gap between our country and the world with their music craft.

He made this statement ahead of the #BlackStarLineFestival concert to be hosted by Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper on the 6th of January 2023 in Accra, Ghana.

He wrote; Our brothers @VicMensa and @chancetherapper true ambassadors bridging the gap between us x our brothers and sisters in the diaspora!!! Can’t wait!! 6th of January #BlackStarLineFestival

Vic Mensa while making the announcement a few weeks back stated that he aims to bridge the gap between the African continent and the diaspora. He added that he and Chance The Rapper are just a step closer to making their dream a reality with their yet to be held concert.

“Our dream is to build bridges that cross the ocean of divide created by the transatlantic slave trade. Today, we are one step closer to actualising that dream,” he said.

Chance The Rapper also revealed that the event will be graced with the presence of top-tier musicians worldwide.
