Obidi’s brand is unquestionable, reason why there’s a new report which says he pocketed a whopping $131,000 just for two shows back in 2018.
Africa Facts Zone alleged that Sarkodie was paid $131,000 by Glo to perform at 2 Glo Mega Concerts in 2018.
Perhaps it was these two shows that were meant for Shatta Wale and Sarkodie to which the Dancehall artist ‘swerved’ it, saying the amount was meagre and does not befits his status and asked Sarkodie to do likewise, only for him (Sark) to accept the deal later.
This was the beginning of the friction between Shatta Wale & Sarkodie and to date, Wale feels grossly betrayed by what his former friend did.
The report stated:
Sarkodie was paid $131,000 to perform at 2 Glo Mega Music Concerts on August 25th and October 21st, 2018.
