Medikal is having the time of his career after breaking his duck at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by winning two awards for the first time of his career. He won the Best Rapper and Hiphop/Hiplife Artist of the Year and this has really bolstered his confidence.
His ‘Omo Ada’ song is also the biggest song in the country right, arguably tho. So we don’t know if this is what has gotten into his head to declare boldly that he suddenly appeared from nowhere like a Messiah and saved GH rap music from the jaws of death four years ago.
His comment has caused so much outraged amongst a cross section of netizens so much that and he’s still being roasted on social media despite the fact that the comment was made almost two weeks ago. Well some are of the opinion that he has disrespected top rappers like M.anifest, Sarkodie, Obrafour and EL hence should come out to render an unqualified apology.
Sarkodie has not publicly reacted to his comment but a new post he made recently on social media captures some printed names of his favourite rappers on his denim jacket and at the top of the jacket was GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
It’s a cryptic message and it’s only Obidi who can interpret for us.
