Top Ghanaian rapper and businessman Sarkodie has revealed how he failed to release his first-ever recorded album because all the songs were about his broken heart.

According to the rapper, he transferred his state of mind and mood on the songs he was recording for the album at that time because he wanted to pour his heart out and feelings on the songs after he got a broken heart.

He said although the melodies on the songs didn’t sound the same when you hear them, but listening to the songs very carefully will make you realized he was talking about the same time broken heart story over and over again.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tilly Akua Nipaa on the ‘Bold Convo’ aired on One Play Africa, Sarkodie also revealed that it got to a point while he disliked women to the fullest when he was recording the album.

The Sark Nation boss stated the album couldn’t come out because after he sat down to listen to the album very carefully, he realized the album was just directed in one specific way which won’t go down well with some people so decided to ignore the album.

He added that although he didn’t drop the album, some of the songs on it made it to the public space and they were been played on Adom FM on regular basis.
