Rapper Sarkodie has reacted speechlessly to the explanation of the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority over the copyright issue after using GUDA without the consent of the artist.

According to the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, if we have to talk about copyright issues then the song GUDA itself would have to be pulled down by Kirani Ayat because he used folklore in the video and he might not have contacted the Ghana Folklore Agency before using it.

Sarkodie among a few other artists reacting to this sounded speechless and only used ‘wow’ to express how he’s short of words to the explanation of the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority and it’s really sad that they don’t think of our artists.

Meanwhile, a Twitter post that we sighted indicated that the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has been accused of using a Ghanaian musician’s work without his permission.

The musician at the center of this controversy Kirani Ayat and according to him, he even reached out to the government for support, however, he did not get it.

Ghanaian musician Kirani Ayat said he had reached out to the government for support but he was turned down.” The post got the attention of the most-decorated Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo who is known as Sarkodie.
