The father of multiple award-winning rappers, Sarkodie, Augustine Owusu Addo has disclosed the music idol he named his son after.
According to Sarkodie’s father, Mr. Owusu Addo, he named his son after the American pop star. King of Pop Michael Jackson due to his love for him and his music. Mr. Owusu Addo made this disclosure backstage during the just ended 8th edition of the Rapperholic Concert that took place in Accra.

Mr. Addo disclosed that he did not know naming his son after the American pop star will go a long way in having an effect on him to become a music star. He emphasized that Sarkodie started rapping at a young age but did it as a hobby and did not know he will be a music god in the future.
“I was a big fan of Michael Jackson. That is how come I named him Michael. I didn’t know he was going to be great in music. When he started rapping, he said it was a hobby and now it has gotten to this stage. I am praying that he goes on and does better” he told the interviewer.
In other news, rapper Samuels Frimpong well known as Medikal has opened up on his take on the perception of people about him that he is fake.
Medikal in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM has reacted to rumors of buying a fake Rolex watch after being busted by a German blog that conducts checks on fake and real products online.

Reacting to the news, Medikal said he is not bothered when people spew trash because he is living a good life and buys expensive gifts for himself. He added that he does not have the time to convince trolls that whatever he wears or buys is original and expensive.
