The President of the Republic Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has instructed the suspension of activities of all Basic, Senior high, schools, Private schools and Universities effective tomorrow March 16th 2020 until further notice.
In a second update prior to the recent additional 4 confirmed cases of the COVID-19, the President Nana Addo has spelled out some safety measures to prevent the spread of the Pandemic disease (Coronavirus).
According to him, it is a decision by the government to combat the virus in the country.
Nonetheless, BECE and WASCE candidates will be permitted to stay in school but will be guided on distancing themselves from social activities.
The ministry of information earlier confirmed 4 additional cases of in the country. Dr. Badu Sarkodie assured that these infected persons have been quarantined and are stable at the moment.
