In other news, outspoken Ghanaian media personality and entertainment pundit, Mr. Logic has revealed that musicians can stop the Ghana Music Rights Organization(GHAMRO) from collecting royalties because they have no power.

Speaking after the recently held VGMA music summit with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Mr. Logic stated that the music organization does not possess the power they feel they wield.

Mr. Logic intimated that even though the law supports some of the policies of the music organization, they can still be restricted by musicians to halt collecting royalties on their behalf.

“It doesn’t matter if the organization is backed by the law, the government doesn’t make music. The law was only made to secure certain parts of their policies but not the composer’s right“, he said.

He further disclosed that the section of the law that backs the organization cannot stop the musicians from collecting their royalties from the organization.
