Vietnam can boast of having the world’s first gold-plated hotel in the country.
The self-proclaimed ‘gold’ hotel named ‘Dolce Hanoi Golden Lake hotel’ has reportedly been officially opened for business.
The hotel is brandished with 24-carat plating in all the lobbies, rooms, cutlery, cups, shower heads, toilet seats and an infinity pool.
One would exquisitely treated to a golden service making the client feel like a royal.
According to reports, the hotel took 11 years to be completed and it is worth over $200 million.
The hotel has 400 rooms with rooms charges starting from $250 for a night including apartments within for hire.
Guests in the hotel are served coffee in a gold cup.
A South Korean guest known as Phillip Park said;
“When I arrived here… I felt like a king, you know, the Pharaoh… the king of Egypt.”
