Words do carry a lot of power. Sometimes the words we use can mean something different to others and vice versa. As humans, we need to come clear on the words we use.

Not long ago, Lynx Entertainment signees, MzVee and Kwami Eugene released a song titled ‘Bend Down’, and it has been explained differently by all. To some it means a seks position, and to others it means a whole new different thing.

MzVee, who was one of the musicians on that track has indeed cleared the air on the misconception surrounding the meaning of the track.

In a recent interview with Hitz FM’s Dr. Pounds, she explained that the ‘Bend Down’ is that feeling you get when you hear a particular track playing and you feel to dance along.

“…, but the ‘bend down’, is that feeling you get when you hear a song and you can’t stand. You have to bend down, you have to dance, you have to break your knee, you have to break your hand, you have to dance, and that’s what it means”, she said.

She later stated emphatically and confidently that the song is a ‘dance song’.

Daavi… thank you for your ‘splendid’ explanation and taking your time to clear the air of all misconception.
