The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aka General Mosquito has probably given the last straw of humiliation to Serwaa Amihere’s weak journalism skills as she contemplates on walking away from the profession.
This was after the GHOne newscaster was trolled once again after General Mosquito gave her a tough time encompassed in intelligence during an interview session.
Serwaa tried to condemn the demonstration which have been embarked on by the NDC supporters nationwide fraught with burning of tyres to protest the presidential election which they described as flawed.
However, General Mosquito offered an intelligent rebuttal by vehemently asking Serwaa which is more grievous and criminal; the unjustifiable killing of NDC supporters during the election as they tried to defend the constitution or supporters who have not broken any law but are merely demonstrating and burning tyres just to reinforce their message.
Serwaa at this juncture couldn’t utter any word as she remained almost speechless, a situation which has now left her at the mercy of trolls for being humiliated for the second time by a politician.
It’s against this background that Nana Aba Anamoah’s ‘daughter’ has said she’s ready to quit journalism now to probably avoid going through this cycle over and over again.
