Stonebwoy has pleaded with prosecutors of his court case with Shatta Wale to drop the case because he and his colleague have been of good behavior and will continue to live in harmony whiles unifying their huge fan-base.

The two frontrunners of Dancehall music in Ghana took their age-long rivalry to a different dimmension when they openly engaged in a free for all fight on live TV.

It all began when Stonebwoy was declared the winner of the top most awards as far the Dancehall categories are concerned.

Moments after he mounted the stage to receive his award and deliver his acceptance speech, his rival Wale was seen moving towards the stage with his entourage.

Hell broke loose when Stonebwoy, thinking his security was under threat, pulled a gun to “defend” himself, but unfortunately that move became the catalyst for disaster.

Several patrons fled the auditorium in panic whilst others allegedly fainted in the ensuing melee, with fans from both camps exchanging blows.

They were subsequently arrested and charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, while Stonebwoy is facing another charge of displaying a weapon in public place without permission.

The Adjabeng Magistrate Court presided over by Mr Isaac Addo, has fixed October 9, 2019, to commence the trial in the case.
