Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has asked the CEO of North Productions, David Nicol Sey to retract his statement about him, saying he, Shatta Wale is the main reason the Ghana Music Industry is failing.

Shatta Wale earlier made a controversial submission on his Snapchat, saying that some music video directors are shooting videos to compete with International stars like Jay Z meanwhile, he has been making his money through the same videos some describe to be poorly programmed.

In reaction to that, David Nicol Sey described him as an empty barrel and the main reason the music industry is failing in Ghana.

In response to this, Shatta Wale once again bragged about his wealth and assets, saying that he has seven houses and bank accounts but Nicol Sey who criticized him has none.

Speaking with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show aired on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale

asked David Nicol Sey to retract his statement if he knows failure.

In other news, famous Ghanaian singer, Jackeline Acheampong, well known in the music industry as Gyakie has revealed that she enjoys recording all her hits in the dark and this is why.

Gyakie who shot to fame with her most popular song ‘Forever’ revealed that darkness is a spiritual place for arts, thus she enjoys recording her songs alone in the studio because it puts her in the mood and gives her all the imagination she requires to write her lyrics.

Speaking in an interview with Becky on the E-Vibes show, Gyakie revealed that darkness inspires her to write good lyrics especially when the song is about love.
