Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is known as Shatta Wale has spoken about his relationship with God.
According to him, when he prays to God, he always answers. He made this known in a recent interview with YFM’s Rev. Erskine on the Y Leaderboard Series.
In his submission, he said;
“People are only watching the material things but they do not watch the inward things. When God is talking to me, I feel it. So, constantly I have been closer to God from birth. When I tell God something and he doesn’t do it then it means he is not around. He has gone to Japan. So I understand. I give myself three months he will come back.”
Shatta Wale is one person who always speaks about God in almost all his interviews. Anytime he is asked about how he made it to the top, he always say that he couldn’t have made this far without God.
Some time ago, popular Ghanaian man of God, Nigel Gaisie revealed that Shatta Wale is where he is because of God.

The cleric stated the musician is where he is because of his mother’s prayers, adding that even before Shatta Wale became popular, his mother was always praying from him.
