Top Ghanaian dancehall act and entertainer, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known as Shatta Wale is set to release his next studio album, “G.O.G”.
The multiple award winning musician, songwriter, record producer and performing artiste in a post via his social media page has hinted of sharing the track-list for his upcoming studio album, ‘Gift Of God’.
Shatta Wale announced that, the track-list of his forthcoming body of work would be released on Friday, June 17, 2022. ‘Gift Of God’ album happens to be his fifth studio album after serving the music community with, “Wonder Boy” in 2019.
On Friday, November 19, 2021, the CEO of SHAXI dropped a 4 track project captioned; “G.O.G Chaff”, according to him, songs on this project, ‘I Pray’, ‘Cool Down’, ‘Love Is A Medicine’ and ‘Maya’ are tunes that didn’t make it to the main album.

In a Facebook page, Shatta Wale wrote; “All the wait is over , finally #GOGALBUM track list is dropping , thank y’all for your patience and support”. The SM boss has also announced his retirement after the release of this album.
In 2021, Shatta Wale was nominated for two awards and won the ‘Best Virtual Entertainer of the Year’ Award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
