Ahead of his upcoming studio album, ‘Gift Of God’, the multiple award winning musician and performing artiste has bagged an enviable feat on popular online video sharing and social media platform, YouTube.

You would recall that, during his performance at the 2022 Summer Stage Festival in New York, the SM boss, Shatta Wale disclosed that, his fifth studio album, ‘Gift Of God’ has been scheduled to arrive on Monday, 17th October 2022.

Ahead of the album release, the multifaceted singer, songwriter, producer, entertainer and entrepreneur h as attained a new career milestone on YouTube as subscribers on his official channel reaches 900,000.

With this latest feat, Shatta Wale becomes the first Ghanaian artiste to reach 900,000 subscribers on YouTube. Congratulations to Shatta Wale a.k.a 1Don.

MEANWHILE: Nigerian star and Chocolate City prodigy, Emeka Akumefule, better known within the showbiz circles as Blaqbonez has made an appeal to renowned female vocalist, Asa.

The multifaceted rapper and entertainer has taken to social media to put out an appeal to the multiple award winning Nigerian-French songstress, Bukola Elemide, professionally known as Asa regarding his sample of her song, ‘360’ on his forthcoming 2nd album, ‘Young Preacher’.

This comes after a Asa’s legal team served Joeboy a copyright infringement notice few days ago. Taking to the bird app via his verified handle, Blaqbonez shared a snippet of a single from dubbed; ‘I’d Be Waiting’ off his impending album, ‘Young Preacher’.

‘360’ happens to be a tune off Asa’s debut album, ‘Asa (Asha)’ which was released in 2007 whereas Blaqbonez’s ‘Young Preacher’ album has been scheduled to arrive on Friday, 28th October, 2022. In his appeal to Asa, Blaqbonez tagged YBNL Nation star, Asake.

The ‘Go Home’ honcho wrote; “Hi queen Asa (@asakemusik), I sampled your classic on the outro of my album, my team has reached out to yours for clearance. thank you 🫡”. Fans and music lovers have since shared speculations regarding the tag, stating that, the rapper might as well sample a song from Asake or an appealed to him for the number one spot on the charts in the country.
