Trust Shatta Wale to make tilt the headlines to his advantage. Recall his infamous beef with Nigerian superstar, Wizkid last year?
In case you are lost on this, let’s fill you in. Someone last year, Shatta Wale tore into Wizkid,saying he doesn’t see anything extraordinary thing about the Nigerian musician, hence he finds it difficult to understand why he’s labelled as a superstar.
He’d said:
We are living a life where upcoming youths are watching people get surprised by my achievement because they don’t have a mind to elevate themselves.
I don’t see Wizkid to be too much for me but most of my Ghanaians and Ghanaian colleagues see him like that.
But I want Wizkid to see me and be like wow not otherwise because what is talking is your pocket, property, investment.
The above comment generated an unprecedented war of words between Ghanaian and Nigerians on social media. Wizkid however did not respond to the tantrum, giving room for his fans to go on with their attacks on Shatta Wale and Ghanaians in general.

People however looked forward to the day they will finally ‘clash’ on stage to display their supremacy and ‘bury’ the debate once and for all as to who truly personifies the word, ‘superstar.’
Hence when artistes billed to perform at the Ghana Naija Music Concert were unveiled, fans were disappointed that Shatta Wale’s name was dropped, apparently to forestall any confrontation with Wizkid .
But this has not stopped Shatta Wale from ‘interfering’ with the concert which scheduled for this Saturday, June 9.
He took to social media few minutes ago to ask Wizkid jovially, Bro is the food not ready? What food is he talking about?
