The ex-boyfriend of socialite and actress Michy Apaatse has disclosed the reason why his relationship with Michy did not work and how dancehall artiste Shatta Wale came into the scene.
The former boyfriend of Michy, born Michelle Diamond has alleged that the dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was in contact with Michy whilst they were dating and quickly took her home the same day they broke up.

Apaatse disclosed in an interview on Accra FM with Docta Kay that he was behind Michy’s decision to come to reside in Ghana from Norway but when she arrived, he realized they were not compatible so he called for a break-up.
“She came all the way from Norway to Ghana just because of me…the thing was that we realized that we are two different people altogether. I am a cool guy but Michy is the hard type,” he explained.
He mentioned: “If I love something, nobody can take it from me. We broke up before Shatta came into the scene. The day I left her, it was Jupiter’s Exposure Party, that was the same day Shatta Wale took her home. We broke up on that day and Shatta Wale took her home on that day.

“When she was in Norway, Wale was chatting with her… as we realized that we were not compatible, I started chatting with Wale like it was Michy behind the phone. I had access to her logins. Actually, she gave it to me to chat him, that the guy was worrying her but I talked to make him feel that Michy was interested.”
Apaatse was asked if he was hurt that Shatta Wale took Michy home and started dating afterward. “I wasn’t hurt, not a bit. I loved her but not in that way…it did not pain me,” he confessed.
