Rapper EL has disclosed that he doesn’t support the popular notion out there that to have a hit song, an artiste must shoot good and expensive video for it.

According to EL, he has observed that when your song becomes a hit s ong, it even pushes the views of the Video.

When asked on Zylofon FM whether he supports the popular notion that Video makes a song becomes a hit song, he said,

“For me, back then i thought shooting good video makes a song becomes a proper banger. I spent lots of money to shoot video for my Overdose song; my Overdose video is my highest most expensive video yet but the song isn’t that big and when you check the views on Youtube, you would feel sorry for me”.

He continued, “Even my Koko video that i didn’t spend enough money on, look at how the song became very big, the Youtube views of Koko is extremely huge”

EL again added that it was from that Overdose experience he told himself not to spend lots of money to shoot a video thinking that quality video would push a song to become a banger. According to him, he would wait and when the song is gradually making airwaves, then he will go all out to spend money on the video of that song.
