The Spanish authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of the famed Tinder Swindler, whose real name is Simon Leviev.

According to reports from Mail Online, the Spanish authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of the 31-year-old young man, Simon Leviev after using a fake ID.

Recall that Leviev, born Shimon Hayut, was arrested in his native Israel after using a false passport in Greece.  Simon Leviev was arrested after he used a fake passport in Greece.

He saw him extradited to Israel in 2019 where he faced charges for fraud, theft, and forgery. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison but only served five months in the end after being released for good behavior.

The Tinder Swindler famed is currently understood investigation over the use of a fake driving license after getting his £80,000 Maserati stuck on a Spanish beach during a day out with a mystery Russian blonde.

Mail Online reports that Simon gave a fake identity to the cops. He told the cops he was called Michael Bilton and a holidaymaker and according to police, he also produced the false license in one of the aliases he is known to have used. However, a police officer was able to identify his fake identifications.

Cops have now asked a court in the southern Spanish port city of Algeciras to reopen a criminal investigation.
