Speaker Nancy Pelosi Pushes Vice President Mike Pence To A Tight Corner- Gives Him 24 Hours To Sign The 25th Amendment

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has given Vice President Mike Pence a 24 hours ultimatum to sign off the 25th amendment which will invoke Donald Trump as President of the United States.

Pelosi stated the vice president has the next 24 hours to sign off the amendment and remove Donald Trump as president or Congress will go on an start Trump’s impeachment process.

In a letter sent to the Democratic Senators, Pelosi stated Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will ask for unanimous consent to make Pence and other cabinet members sign off on the 25th Amendment.

Some section of the letter reads;

I want to call to your immediate attention the action to be taken tomorrow morning when Majority Leader Hoyer will request unanimous consent to bring up the Raskin resolution. The resolution calls on the Vice President to convene and mobilize the Cabinet to activate the 25th Amendment to declare the President incapable of executing the duties of his office, after which the Vice President would immediately exercise powers as acting President”.
