The father of the late Ghanaian talented female dancehall musician, Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng who is widely known as Starboy Kwarteng has denied allegations that his late daughter was pimping her friends to him.

It could be recalled that before the death of the musician on February 8, 2018, it was alleged that she was pimping her friends to her father.

These allegations made headlines in the Ghanaian media space with many people believing these allegations to be true.

However, the CEO of Kwabony Records has denied all these allegations and he did so in a recent interview with Andy Dosty on HItz FM.

Reacting to these allegations, he said;

“Whoever said Ebony was pushing her friends to me, I pray for her forgiveness.”

He also spoke about his record label and the musicians he has signed so far saying;

“My daughter’s death influenced the birth of my record label. I have an artiste named Summer Rains. On 16th February, he will release a tribute to Ebony.

My other artiste Kim Maureen is lazy. Kim Maureen was supposed to release 7 albums within the span of 5 years. She promised to do things fast.

Kim Maureen was supposed to live in my house while I was away. I gave her one of my rooms in my house. Her task was to work. Record and write. That was what she was employed to do.”
