Stonebwoy and his former protégé, Kelvyn Boy renewed hostilities recently which caused much furore on social media. To think the relationship between a ‘father’ and ‘son’ will deteriorate to this extent is mind-blowing.

Before we take you into what we have gathered about the recent feud which saw the Afrobeat sensation being slapped by Bossu Kelly, a former bodyguard of Stonebwoy, let’s recall how this feud escalated to this boiling point.

Getting to the tail end of 2019, rumours were rife that the Bhim Nation camp was on fire as Stonebwoy was reportedly having issues with his signee and protégé, Kelvyn Boy. Both tried not to give anything to the media to prey and aggravate the situation.

However, the Bhim Nation President was dropping cryptic messages on social media about how ungrateful Kelvyn Boy was Eventually when the centre of their personal and working relationship couldn’t hold, Stonebwoy axed Kelvyn Boy

from Burniton Music Group.

An announcement was made to that effect thus: ‘As announced by the Chief Executive of Burniton Group Limited (the company) during recent media engagement, the company has recently been in the process of auditing its relationship with its officers and associated act for the purpose of re-organisation of its internal structures. The audit process was completed today and the process of its release is to update BHIM Natives and the general public on its conclusions.

Mr Kelvyn Brown (Kelvyn Boy) and the company entered into an agreement dated January 22, 2018, which, to a large extent, governed the relationship between both parties (the agreement).

The agreement had a initial term of 1 year and provided the of renewal for a further period of 4 years (the option).’

Somewhere in September 2019, Stonebwoy in the studios of Hitz FM stated categorically that whoever is closer to him knows that Kelvyn Boy has been ungrateful for some reason, yet, it is obvious they have not been able to resolve their differences.

This assertion was also reinforced by ace broadcaster and fashionista, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) who jabbed Kelvin Boy for his act betrayal and ungratefulness.

KOD believes despite the feud he has with his former boss and mentor, it’s not appropriate for the Afrobeats star to make comments and gestures aimed at ridiculing or dissing Stonebwoy

.

Thereafter Kelvyn Boy showed remorse by asking for forgiveness from Stonebwoy. A video of him kneeling down and pleading with his fans to help him beg Stonebwoy surfaced on the internet.

Kelvyn Boy added he has wronged the Burniton Music Group boss, and as such is pleading for forgiveness. However, Stonebwoy did not buy it and said if he was truly genuine about it, he would have come to him directly and not engaged in gimmicks. Having realized his efforts at winning back Stonebwoy’s love failed, he started aiming indirect shots at him on social media after which he dropped a diss song for him dubbed, ‘Yawa No Dey’ which featured GodMC M.anifest.

Later Okailey Verse (OV) also exited Burniton Music Group, followed by Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy‘s manager. It emerged that they were part of the conspiracy pool who tried to undermine Stonebwoy. One Aisha Mode later blew the lid off the case in a viral video that emerged on social media. The Bhim Nation subscriber said the trio did everything to bring down Stonebwoy and paid his kindness with evil so she supports the recent attack on Kelvyn Boy.

Aisha Mode further dropped more secrets about Kelvyn Boy, OV and Blakk Cedi for their diabolical schemes against Stonebwoy.

After we thought the feud has diminished, Kelvyn Boy was assaulted on Monday, June 22 when he was having a program at Ashaiman. Bossu Kelly, the man who attacked Kelvyn Boy said the ‘Yawa No Dey’ crooner once said he will never perform in Ashaimain, more specifically Stonebwoy’s world-acclaimed Ashaiman to the World Concert hence he found it weird that he stepped foot in the town for a show.

Kelvyn Boy indirectly blamed Stonebwoy for the attack in a series of tweets but Stonebwoy swiftly replied by saying he would even take legal action against his former employee for defamation.

It’s unfortunate things have gotten to this point. We wish they could patch up their differences for the growth of Ghana music.
