In other news, Ghanaian rapper, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, well known as Guru has taken a swipe at the Head of Legal and Prosecutions of the Ghana Police Service, COP Kofi Boakye for questioning the status of celebrities during IGP’s meeting with the Creative Arts Industry.

Recall, IGP scheduled a conference with creative actors to discuss ways to improve collaboration and cooperation. Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Stonebwoy, A Plus, Bulldog, Samini, Socrate Safo, Afia Schwarzenegger, Rex Omar, among other industry gurus were among those in attendance.

During the meeting, COP Kofi Boakye lamented the sense of entitlement of celebrities in Ghana, saying that some of the things they do are sometimes very disgusting.

“I want to say that the sense of entitlement of celebrities is becoming overwhelming and I just don’t get it. Some of the things that you do are disgusting, truth be told. If we cannot arrest pickpockets, we cannot arrest armed robbers. No one is above the law. When you fault it and the law has to deal with you, we will, so that it will deter others” he said.
