Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy has recounted a punishment his dad gave him during his childhood days.

Born Livingstone Etse Satekla, the renowned musician revealed this in a recent submission he had on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In his submission, he said;

“I remember one time when I was younger. I was about to take my bath and my dad asked me whether I had a towel with me. I said yes. He came to confirm and there was no towel—and he punished me for that —just because I lied.”

Stonebwoy is the CEO of Burniton Music Group, and some days ago, he signed a mind-blowing deal with the renowned world music label, Def Jam.

In 2015, he was adjudged the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and also won the Artist of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

He is also a recipient of two Billboard plaques and has been described as the king of reggae and dance hall in Africa.
