Tamale-based musician, Akaateba Christopher Akanvarichaab who is known as Teflon Flexx has revealed that one of the things he regrets in life is heeding to an ‘advice’ by a big man.

According to him, he was ‘advised’ by this big man during the initial stage of his career to say bad things about established Ghanaian musician, Mujahid Ahmed Bello who is widely known as Fancy Gadam.

He made this known in a recent interview he had on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM on Thursday morning.

In his submission, he said;

“The only thing I regret in my life is saying something bad about Fancy Gadam which I was advised to do by ‘A big man’ at the early stage of my music career.”

The musician whose area of specialization includes Hip-hop, Afropop, Dancehall, and other notable genres, said he had always had a passion for music right from infancy.

The former product of St Charles Minor Seminary cites Ghana’s biggest artist, Sarkodie as his major influence.

Speaking about Sarkodie, he said;

“Sarkodie has always been my musical idol because he has proven that music can be very successful and he has really taken Ghanaian music to places and It is always going to be a dream come true to perform with or on the same stage with Sarkodie and I know hard work will get me there.”

He writes all his songs and has performed in some of the biggest shows in Wa, Tamale and Bolga.

During his leisure time, he does some research to augment his craft. He watches documentaries, listens to music, and reads as well.
