Lawyer Alidu Mohammed of the Anim Law Firm stated that the family needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Hiplife singer and rapper is still alive rather than just talking that they believe he’s alive.

He said the family has to let the authorities know that they have been in touch with the musician in every way possible and must be ready to provide proof of their means of communication.

He added that this will be the only way the State will halt the process of declaring him dead after they investigate the family’s claims and verified that indeed, Castro has been in touch with his family members.

In an interview with multi-talented renowned disc jockey and musician Andy Dosty this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM, Lawyer Alidu Mohammed stated the family should better provide proof to the State else the State will have no other option than to declare Castro dead.

Castro alongside Janet Bandu on July 6th, 2014 suddenly disappeared when they went on a vacation with the Gyan Brothers at the Ada Beach Resort. Castro and Janet Bandu were said to have gone for a jet ski ride and never returned.

Reports indicate the two were suspected to have drowned in the site where the Volta River meets the sea and after a search party was conducted, the group found the jet ski and the lifeguard one of them was allegedly wearing.
