Controversies never seem to stop rising and the issue of actress, Beverly Afaglo’s house being burnt down has taken a new twist.
You could recall Beverly took to social media to vent out her frustration after her matrimonial house got reduced to rubble.
According to her, all her possessions and that of her family were lost in the incident including her wigs, clothes, passport jewellery and others. Her outcry garnered the support of her fellow celebrities including Stonebwoy, Gloria Sarfo, others who swiftly came to her aid.
However, the news has taken a new twist as she has been reportedly accused of deliberately deceiving Ghanaians that it was her house that got burnt. According to a close source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the house that was burnt is where Beverly’s mother and sister stays and her belongings are not in the house.
In a related development, Beverly narrated how the fire started in her home and burnt all her possessions a while ago. According to her, no casualties were recorded after the incident but the only thing her family is left with is the dress they wore for the day.
She wrote;
“The fire service got in on time but over 40mins they couldnt go inside because of the heavy smoke (I was wondering why they don’t have protective gears for smoke
gosh) they stood there deliberating and another came and that was the worse, they had to use a generator but it couldn’t start which also took awhile, then another came which went thru a nieghbours house to the back of the house and started putting off the fire but it was too late
My mum, the kids nanny,the kids and I are all left with nothing . This country let’s stop doing partisan politics and set our priorities right and stop the misplaced priorities. Ghana hmmmmmm”
