Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Akosua Acheampong better known as Becca has opened up on the things she used her first proceeds from her hit song ‘You Lied to Me’ when she was thrust into the limelight.
Becca had her breakthrough in the music industry when she released her single, ‘You Lied to Me’ featuring Kwabena Kwabena. Because of how prominent the song became, Becca went ahead to share the same stage with international music stars, Beyonce and Usher.
According to Becca, she used the proceeds she generated from the music to make sure her family and the people around her were good. She made her disclosure in an interview on Angel Tv.
In her words: “Well, i bought a few things for my family members. I barely spent a lot on myself. I was always making sure people out there were okay”
“Aside from that, the first property i bought as a property was my car.”
Becca earned some top awards at the VGMA 2008 as a result of the music video.
Meanwhile, Billionaire daughter and Nigerian musician, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy has taken to social media quiz her fans on the amount they think she charges for her shows.
Dj Cuppy asked her fans to guess the amount of money she charges for an hour and stand the chance of winning a 10% commission for her next show.
She wrote: How much do you think I charge to DJ for 1 hour these days? Eyes
