Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., also known as Shatta Wale has reacted to speculations made on social media that he mostly engages controversies to get the attention of Ghanaians.

Aside from being one of the best musicians in Ghana, Shatta Wale is well known to be one of the outspoken music personalities in Ghana. Due to his controversies, many have presumed that Shatta Wale mostly engages in beefs just for attention.
Well, that sounds like a perfect strategy for him to promote his craft especially when he is about to drop a new project. Not only Shatta Wale, but almost every artist would also try to trend for certain reasons before dropping a new project.
In his recent tweet, Shatta Wale has debunked claims of engaging in social media banters just for attention’s sake. According to him, the money he makes from his music is in no relation to his beef on social media, thus one would be deceiving him or herself if he or she presumes such an idea.
He wrote;
The most stupid thing they can say is I need attention. Keep lying to yourself that I still want to make momey out of gh music ,I am a fucken self made before music..Keep lying to your own life
