Veteran producer Jay Q has slammed King Promise for grossly disrespecting producers in Ghana by labeling Killbeatz the best of the time when it comes to sound production in Ghana.

King Promise veered into a collision course with Jay Q whose real name is Jeff Quaye for saying the rest of the music producers in Ghana are disciples while crowning his buddy Killbeatz as the Messiah himself, as it were.

The clean-shaven artiste shared: “Put some respect on the name Killbeatz. Greatest of all time. Agyinkwa. The rest are disciples.” After the buzz his post caused, Jay Q offered retaliatory remarks by chipping in thus;

“If we are the disciples (of Christ) dierr then I guess the producer in the picture is the water Jesus used to wash our feet. lol. I guess if the number of your producer’s hits were Gh cedis, it won’t even buy waakye. Respect to all producers.”

In the meantime, King Promise and Killbeatz have not responded to Jay Q’s diss as members of the ‘Beef Nation Association’ wait patiently on how this new development would unfold in the coming days.

A young man who bears a striking resemblance with Ghana’s Afrobeat sensation King Promise has been spotted in series of videos on TikTok performing his songs.

The man, Robest GH was seen performing King Promise’s hit songs, ‘Slow Down’ and ‘Commando’ with the kind of swag that reflects the award-winning artiste’s persona.

Robest reportedly hails from Koforidua in the Eastern Region. According to him, he feels strongly that King Promise is his brother and would therefore like to meet him one day. Watch the videos by clicking here.
