Former President of the Republic John Dramani Mahama says that the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, has become an eyeopener that health care systems are vital to any country.

HE John Dramani Mahama took to his social media platform to make this revelation. According to him, it is the right of every human being to have access to health. He further urged that, a telemedicine tool should be developed to support the construction of hospitals. This he says will provide modern and well-equipped health facilities across the country.

Mr John Mahama added that with the provision of the above stated, it will make it easier for all Ghanaians to access quality healthcare.

Ghana has however recorded a total of 6,269 confirmed cases with about 1,898 recoveries and 31 deaths. Active cases stands at 4,340.
