Outspoken Ghanaian social media icon, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger has stated that the police cannot be trusted these days even though they claim of being a friend to everyone in the country.

She made this statement shortly after two of Ghana’s biggest musicians, Shatta Wale and Medikal was put behind bars for their offenses. Shatta Wale was arrested for pulling a publicity stunt about a shooting incident. He was arraigned and remanded into police custody for one week and was later granted bail of GHc100,000.
Medical was also arraigned before the court after he was accused of brandishing a gun in a viral video on social media. He was remanded into police custody and later granted bail of GHc100,000 with one surety.
Afia Schwarzenegger whom many are also calling for her arrest for engaging in a similar offense as Medikal some time ago has said that the police are a friend to all but they cannot be trusted these days with regards to what has happened to some of her colleagues.
She made this known while making a public announcement on her social media page about the IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare’s intention to meet with the Creative Arts industry today.
