Rapper Kwaw Kese has insisted that a lot of the problems plaguing the country are caused by churches and vastly the buffoonery that envelops their mode of activities.

The multiple Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) winner told ace broadcaster Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus FM’s Afro Joint that most prophets are instilling panic and fear into the citizenry especially celebs, hence government should close down their churches.

“The religions are the cause of the underdevelopment of the country, the churches are too much”. Speaking further, the ‘Man Insane’ lamented about the different fragments in the Christendom and wondered why Christians don’t worship under one leadership.

“Why is it that Action International Church has a big auditorium but Christians can not worship in the same church”? he quizzed.

Recently, Kwaw Kese who has been very vocal about the legalization of weed in Ghana, reinforced his posture while highlighting the benefit of the illicit drug in a radio interview.

The rapper and President of Mad Nation said he cannot comprehend why a harmful substance or product like cigarettes has been legalized at the expense of healthy weed.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Pure FM in an interview with Hammer Nti, the rapper disclosed the several advantages of cannabis and asked Ghana to take advantage of its enormous benefit as other ‘modernized’ countries are doing.
