He lamented about the ridiculous cost of olives that he used to buy at 16gh which recently rose to 20gh after 2 weeks, attributing the new development to spike in transport fares. Meanwhile, the same olives are going for 45gh on the market at the moment.

“I have been buying olives for Ghc16 for some time now but just two weeks ago I went to buy some and it was Ghc20 I was like oh it’s still manageable but today I went and it was Ghc45. Chale!!! What’s going on?”
