The Weekend has officially stated that he won’t be submitting his works for consideration in the Grammys any longer because of corruption within the selecting committee.

The Canadian-born singer, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye is particularly pissed off after his monster hit song ‘Blinding Lights’ was snubbed for the 2021 Grammy Awards. According to a report from The New York Times on Thursday, March 11, the artiste has revealed that he will no longer be submitting his music to the Record Academy for consideration.

“Because of the secret committees, I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys,” he told the publication in a statement.
