With some government employees going on strike, many Ghanaians are bemoaning the intolerable cost of living brought on by the daily hikes in the prices of products and services.

Hip-hop artist Derrick Osei Kuffour Prempeh, well known as Kofi Jamar, from Ghana, has advised Ghanaians to deal with the difficulties because they exist all around the world.

He disclosed on the Kastle Drive Show “As for hardships in the system everywhere in the world that’s what I can see happening all over because everybody is complaining of rising costs of living”.

The musician from Kumasi who just got back from a trip and media tour in Kenya said he realized there is suffering all across the world after interacting with the locals there.

“Even recently when I travelled to Kenya for a media tour everyone was complaining of hardships in the country but not as in severe pressure on the people,” he added on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

Kofi Lamar spoke to Amansan Krakye;

“Those in Kenya that I spoke with were also complaining that they are suffering and prices of goods have increased so I think it’s everywhere and we just have to deal with it,”
