Speaking on the United Showbiz aired on UTV, Asantewaa intimated that most TikTokers receive calls from musicians for promotion of their projects on the platform.

She said that, as things stand, songs cannot receive the appropriate attention on social media without the assistance of TikTokers, regardless of how influential and strong the musician is or how long the music has been a part of the game.

“It doesn’t matter how long you have played your music game, when you release the song it is no longer about the craft unless the song is being given to us, else you will have to jam to the song yourself”, she said.

In reaction, Archipalago has also stated that he finds Asantewaa’s comment about the influence possessed by TikTokers very absurd and hilarious.

In a tweet, Archipalago intimated that there is going to be a time where these TikTokers will loose their relevance and will not be able to brag about their influence anymore, hence they might as well enjoy the fame and prominence while it lasts.

He wrote; Those TikTok people who are saying they make music a hit nowadays are really funny to me cos there will be a time they won’t say the same anymore so make them enjoy demma fame whiles it last!
