Ghanaian showbiz pundit, Martinezz has revealed that there has always been comments about Ghanaian musicians and their performances in the music scene ever since Nigeria had their musician win the prestigious Grammy Awards.

According to him, ever since Burna Boy, real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu won the Grammy Award, ill comments have always been passed about the performances of Ghanaian musicians in the country.
This is to say that Burna Boy’s triumph at the Grammy Awards gave Ghanaians the opportunity to belittle the efforts of Ghanaian musicians and their music brands.
“It appears ever since Burna Boy won the GRAMMYs, there have been comments regarding the artist’s performance and stuff“, he said.
Martinezz also said that even though the Ghanaian media landscape cannot live to the standard of renowned media platforms like the BBC or Choice FM, they will always support the rapper in their own way.
“We all cannot be at BBC or Choice FM. We can only throw our support behind Sarkodie. We all wish to see him successful“, he added.
